Four bedroom canalfront (flows directly to Crystal River) home for rent on Crystal River near the mouth of the Gulf of Mexico. Sleeps seven comfortably with 2 king size beds and three single beds. Fully furnished with all the extras. In the backyard there is a private 50' dock plus a 20' floating dock for mooring your boat(s). Large back porch with table and chairs to lounge around. Direct access to beautiful spring fed Crystal River which opens into the Gulf of Mexico. In Kings Bay enjoy freshwater fishing, boating and swimming with the manatees--we have had many guests report wonderful encounters with our gentle giants. In the Gulf of Mexico fish for trout, redfish or grouper or make it a family event to go scalloping during scallop season. There are plenty of golf courses in the area, enough that you could play a different course each day of the week and still have some left over. We have put together a guide of the many activities available on our Nature Coast to make your stay as relaxing or busy as you want it to be. The Gulf Coast beckons!

The City of Crystal River is built around Kings Bay, a manatee sanctuary popular for diving in the winter when manatees are in abundance. Summer offers a warm area for all types of water sports with the constant cool waters from the springs to keep you comfortable. Easy access to the Gulf of Mexico for year-round fishing and, when in season, scalloping. Fast becoming an area known for ecotourism with a large number of nature trails, parks and canoe trails. For the golf enthusiasts we have 9 local courses (18 courses within 30 miles), enough to keep you busy all month. Lots of shopping for the bargain hunters as well as a mall and movie theater minutes away. You'll also be close enough for day trips to Orlando and Tampa for all the major theme parks. |

- Rainbow River Canoe and Kayak - Rentals and shuttling -- where you simply park and ride our shuttle to the paddling destination of your choice; the crystal clear spring water of the Rainbow River, or the deep water and dense forests of the Withlacoochee River. On either trip, you will drift peacefully back to your car.
- Coastal Charters - Crystal River area charter fishing.
- Swim with Manatees - Manatee safaris. This is one of several local businesses that provide expert tours.
- Scalloping Tours w/ Capt. Mike - group rates available.
Golfing
- Plantation Golf Resort - This club has an outstanding eighteen-hole course and a nine-hole course. Located near the beautiful Kings Bays in Crystal River, the Championship Course has wide fairways and water hazards coming into play on almost every hole. This course is great for the average golfer.
- Seven Rivers Golf & Country Club - (352)-795-2100 -- Tucked away just outside of Crystal River, this course is well maintained and full of water hazards. The seasonal golfer will love to call this course home. Bring extra balls because the 28 plus water hazards and resident alligators are sure to claim more than one.
Food and Nightlife
- Crackers Bar, Grille, and Tiki Hut - This place is always hopping on the shore of King's Bay, it's only minutes away by boat or car. Live entertainment on weekends as well as karaoke, inside and outside bars and dining.
